Elemental Cloak. The keese can use its bonus action to expose its body to an adjacent elemental object to transform into a different type of keese. The type of object decides its new form: fire or lava creates a fire keese, ice or blue fire creates an ice keese, and electricity creates an electric keese.
Sunlight Sensitivity. While in sunlight, the keese has disadvantage on attack rolls, as well as on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight. | |||||

Although it bears an appearance similar to a mere bat, a keese often has bulging eyes, a hooked tail, or other traits which hint at its demonic orgin. Living omens, keese seem to only appear when evil or fiendish beings are not far away. A rise in keese population is said to be one of the first signs that Ganon or another great evil is on the rise. When the world is in peril, keese seem to emerge from almost any dark corner that's left undisturbed for too long.
Mindless Assault. Although a keese has some sense of self-preservation, they are extremely aggressive even against foes many times their own size. Keese bites are known to be found even on horses or other massive beasts, even though keese have no chance of coming out alive and don't even have a physiological need to eat. This aggression may result from the sheer evil running through them.
Unnatural. Unlike the bats they resemble, keese rely on their wide bright eye(s) to navigate and don't use any kind of echolocation. Also unlike normal beasts, a keese will prefer to feed on magical energy over insects or other food normal beasts might favor—some keese don't even have functional digestive systems.
Elemental Absorption. Keese have the bizarre ability to cloak themselves in flames without coming into harm, becoming fire keese. Rarer varieties include ice keese and even electric keese. Keese can be the bane of novice wizzrobes, as a keese which cloaks itself in this energy becomes immune to that element.
Environment: Arctic, Caves, Forest, Grassland, Hills, Ruins, Urban, Volcanic
