Fire Cloak. Any creature which touches or grapples the fire keese takes 3 (1d6) fire damage and must succeed on a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw or become ignited.

Illumination. The fire keese sheds bright light in a 5-foot radius and dim light for an additional 5 feet.

Sunlight Sensitivity. While in sunlight, the fire keese has disadvantage on attack rolls, as well as on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight.

Actions

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 2 (1d4) piercing damage and the target is exposed to the keese's fire cloak.

“Found near volcanoes, these monsters are attracted to dark places, such as caves. Constantly under combustion, they will burn anything on contact.”
— Fi, Skyward Sword

The body of this keese is eternally aflame with magical fire. Keese who remain aflame for a long time eventually turn orange or yellow themselves. Many keese actively seek out fire in their environment to empower themselves with this form.
This variety is most abundant in areas with natural flame or lava, such as the Eldin region. Forest fires typically bear fire keese who only spread the fire further.
Environment: Caves, Grassland, Hills, Ruins, Volcanic
