Range:  Self (15-foot cone)
Components:  V, S
Duration:  Instantaneous

A vortex of flames spirals out from your hand or mouth. Each creature in a 15-foot cone originating from you must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save a creature takes 2d6 fire damage and is ignited. On a successful one, a creature takes half as much damage and isn't ignited.
     These flames ignites any flammable objects in the area that aren't being worn or carried.
     Upcast. You can upcast this spell by expending extra magic points when you cast it.  For every extra point, add 1d6 fire damage. For every two extra points, increase the cone's size by 5 feet.

     At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd or higher, add 1d6 fire damage for every slot level above 1st, and increase the cone's size by 5 feet for every two levels above 1st.
