Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +2 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1 piercing damage plus 3 (1d6) poison damage.

Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +1 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1 bludgeoning damage and if the target is a climbing creature, it is knocked prone unless it has a climb speed.

“Found mostly in ivy and on walls, you can expect this creature to approach when it senses your presence. The beast lives on other creatures' bodily fluids.”
— Fi, Skyward Sword

These spider-like monsters have a few regional variations with different names—such as skullwalltula or pygmy skulltula—but in all cases they are smaller versions of the more well-known skulltulas and retain the namesake skull pattern. Their relatively lesser strength and durability forces walltulas to use less brute force than their counterparts, as they rely on ambushing and hunting.
Climber's Nightmare. The walltula is infamous for a particular tactic in which it stuns or tackles an adult climber off a tree or cliff. The monsters simply lets the victim fall to injury or death before feasting on the fresh corpse. It is believed many walltulas lay in wait in dark cliff and tree crevices waiting for this opportunity.
Gold Skulltula. Rarely, a walltula has a golden exoskeleton that is highly sought by collectors. Despite the glistening carapace of these "gold skulltulas," they do not seem to possess any special power like most other golden monsters do.
