13-point evocation | |
Casting time: | 1 action |
Range: | 1 mile |
Components: | V, S |
Duration: | Concentration, up to 1 minute |
A thunderous boom calls down from the heavens, sending a powerful bolt of lightning arcing to a point you can see within range. Every creature in a 10-foot radius of that point must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or take 3d20 thunder damage and be deafened for the duration, and succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 3d20 lightning damage and be paralyzed for the duration.
If a creature is paralyzed by this spell, at the end of each of its turns it can make a Constitution saving throw, ending the condition on itself on a success.
For the duration, each turn you can use your action to call a subsequent lightning bolt down at any point in range. These subsequent bolts cannot paralyze a creature that has already been targeted by this spell.
Legendary Spell. This spell is particularly taxing to cast. Once you cast one legendary spell, you cannot cast any legendary spell again until you finish a long rest.
