This magic rod is decorated with gold ornamentation and is tipped with a clear white gem.
While wielding the rod, you can use your action to create a solid 5-foot-cube of sand on any unoccupied ground within 30 feet of you; or the ground you stand on if it isn't occupied by someone other than you. If the ground below the cube is comprised of loose sand, the cube keeps its shape for up to 1 minute before vanishing. Otherwise, the cube vanishes at the start of your next turn. A block of sand created by this rod has a consistency comparable to sandstone, can be used as cover, and can support the weight of a Medium creature, but not a Large or larger creature.
The block has 0 AC and only 1 heart point, but is immune to all damage other than bludgeoning, force, and thunder.
