Weapon (arrow or bolt), rare minor

This magic arrow carries a satchel of explosive powder on its tip. Due to the odd balance of this arrow, you must spend a bonus action loading it before you can attack with it.
If you make a ranged weapon attack with this arrow, it deals damage as normal on a hit, and regardless of hit or miss the arrow explodes in a a 10-foot radius explosion at the impact point. Every creature in this radius must make a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save a target takes 5d6 thunder damage and is ignited; if it's a Medium or smaller creature, it also flies 5 feet away from the explosion to land prone. On a success a creature takes half as much damage and isn't ignited, pushed, or knocked prone.
The explosion destroys the arrow. The arrow fails to detonate underwater or under heavy precipitation, but isn't destroyed on impact.
“A powerful arrow designed to destroy monsters. The explosive powder packed into the tip ignites on impact, dealing massive damage to anything caught in the blast.”
