Fire Absorption. Whenever the slug is subjected to fire damage, it takes no damage and instead regains a number of heart points equal to the fire damage.

Spider Climb. The slug can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.

Stone Camouflage. The slug has advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks made to hide in rocky terrain.

Actions

Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +1 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1 bludgeoning damage, plus 7 (2d6) fire damage.

Fiery Blast. All creatures within 5 feet of the slug must make a DC 10 Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save a creature takes 7 (2d6) fire damage, is pushed 5 feet away, and lands prone. On a successful save a creature takes half as much damage and isn't pushed or knocked prone.

Reactions

Falling Slam. If the slug is climbing while any creature passes under it, the slug can use its reaction to fall into that creature's space and make a slam attack with advantage on the attack roll.

“A slug monster that generates flames. They mainly live in volcanic areas.”
Encyclopedia

Though called a slug, this monster is almost indistinguishable from a pile living lava. The only clue to its true nature are few small eye stalks that can easily be hidden.
Living primarily in areas of molten rock, the slug is generally content to survive on the immense heat provided by its environment but can sometimes turn aggressive. Its sticky body can climb the volcanic caves in which it usually dwells, which provides its primary form of attack: falling from the ceiling on unsuspecting prey. Any would-be victim that manages to evade the initial tackle will find the slow-moving slug easy to avoid.
     Environment: Caves, Volcanic
