Components: | V, S, M (water or ice that was once part of a chilfos) |
Duration: | Concentration, up to 10 minutes |
You condense air into the cold, statuesque form of a chilfos under your command. You can conjure one chilfos or two fragile chilfos to appear in unoccupied spaces within range. A chilfos can appear climbing a wall or ceiling it would otherwise be able to climb. These chilfos are friendly to you and your companions. They will obey all verbal commands that you issue (no action required by you). In combat, these creatures share their turns with you. If it is within 60 feet of you, you control the chilfos' movement and actions as much as if you controlled your own character. If by the end of your turn you have issued no commands to it, the chilfos will defend itself from hostile creatures but take no other actions.
Upcast. You can upcast this spell by expending extra magic points when you cast it. Regardless of how many total points you expend, you can conjure one fragile chilfos for every 2 points, one chilfos for every 4 points, and one champion chilfos for every 9 points.
Permanency. You can supply extra material components to make one or more of these chilfos persist permanently, which consumes the material components. A fragile chilfos requires 5,000 rupees' worth of diamond dust, while a chilfos requires 50,000 rupees' worth. After the spell duration ends, the conjured chilfos no longer share their turns with you, and they act on their own initiative. The DM controls the chilfos from that point onward, but they still obeys your commands to the best of their ability.
