This magic plate armor is infamously worn by phantoms of the Great Sea, who themselves are rumored to be literally invincible.
While wearing this armor but not attuned to it, you reduce all nonmagical bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage you take by 1.
While wearing this armor and attuned to it, you instead have resistance to all nonmagical damage. Additionally, you can use an action to make yourself immune to nonmagical damage for 10 minutes or until you are no longer wearing the armor. Once this special action is used, it can't be used again until the next dawn.
