Charge. If the vengas moves at least 10 feet straight towards a target and then hits it with a bite attack on the same turn, the target takes an extra 3 (1d6) piercing damage.

Death Cloud. When the vengas dies, it explodes to release a cloud of violet-colored gas that fills a 15-foot cube centered on itself. This cloud lasts for a minute, or until a strong breeze disperses it. If a creature other than a vengas starts its turn in the cloud or enters it on its turn, the creature takes 3 (1d6) poison damage and must make a DC 11 Strength saving throw. On a failure, the gas pushes the creature back to the nearest unoccupied space outside the cloud.

Actions

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d6 + 1) piercing damage.

“A small insect that lives in the Forest Temple. They will slip through cracks left by bombs in the walls. Vengas store poisonous gas in their bodies, releasing it in a toxic cloud upon defeat.”
Encyclopedia

This overgrown insect features a golden-brown carapace, four ant-like legs, a pair of black antenna, and two dimly glowing green eye-like organs it uses to see. Unusual for a bug, it has the capability to gallop and charge at high speed towards its prey, in a manner reminiscent of a pouncing panther.
Vengas are usually found in small groups of three to four, and together they are overwhelmingly aggressive towards anything they come across. When one vengas dies, its corpse bursts with a poisonous gas that doesn't affect its peers. The released poison can help the rest of its kin take down the predator that killed it.
