Parry (technique) is a fighting style. While you have this style, you gain these benefits:
If you are wielding a shield or a one-handed melee weapon when another creature hits you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to add your proficiency bonus to your AC for that attack, potentially causing it to miss you.
