Ring, rare major (requires attunement)

This magic ring has a gem shaped in a form reminiscent of a small, buckler-like shield. Wearing it provides resistance to damage from a specific source. The DM decides the source or rolls a d4 on the table below.
d4 Ring Damage
1 green luck ring slashing and piercing damage from traps
2 blue luck ring damage from a line spell, any ranged spell attack, or magic missile
3 yellow luck ring damage from falling
4 red luck ring damage that can be reduced but not prevented with a successful Dexterity saving throw
