Grappler. The floormaster has advantage on attack rolls against any creature grappled by it.

Shadow Camouflage. While in dim light or darkness, the floormaster has advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks made to hide.

Actions

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d10 + 3) slashing damage, and a Large or smaller creature is grappled (escape DC 15). While the target is grappled, the floormaster cannot attack another target.

Flying Punch. (Recharge 5-6). The floormaster forms a fist and flies 15 feet in a straight line, passing through the space of any other creatures. Any Large or smaller creature in this line must succeed on a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw or take 10 (3d6) bludgeoning damage and fall prone. This movement doesn't provoke opportunity attacks.

Labored Flight. the floor master gains a flying speed of 20 feet until the start of its next turn.

Reactions

Split. If the floormaster takes damage but isn't reduced to 0 heart points, it can use its reaction to split into three mini floormasters which each have full heart points.

“A giant hand that crawls along the floors of dungeons. Some split into three when struck.”
Encyclopedia

It appears as a gigantic disembodied hand of a shadowy violet color, with sharp black nails. Its fingers pull it along the floors of vile temples, corrupted ruins, or other structures filled with dark magic. One these magically created creatures exists solely to assault invaders. When a foreign entity approaches, it usually ambushes them by turning a shade of green and flying towards it with a ferocious punching strike. In the rare event this doesn't kill the invader outright, the floormaster can assail with claw and gripping attacks. Some are even able to turn invisible, or split into smaller creatures known as mini floormasters.
Floormasters are related to wallmasters, and the two monsters usually bear an almost identical appearance. A wallmaster generally lacks the more robust combat abilities of a floormaster, and most floormasters lack the ability to teleport their victims.
