Armor (half plate), uncommon major
This magic half plate is covered in prominent, magical spikes. While wearing it, you can make a special kind of unarmed strike which on a hit deals piercing damage equal to 1d4 + your Strength modifier. You can use your reaction to make this unarmed strike against a creature if you are grappling with it or if it makes direct contact with you, such as if it hits you with a bite attack or a shove. (Being hit with a melee weapon, like a shortsword, does not count as direct contact.)
