Armor (hide), rarity varies major

This magic hide armor was created by an ancient warlike tribe, and hints of that once-powerful sorcery still linger within it.
While wearing this armor, add a bonus to your Strength-based weapon damage rolls and Strength ability checks (but not attack rolls or saves). The bonus depends on the armor's rarity: +1 for uncommon, +2 for rare, or +3 for very rare. You only retain this benefit if using the AC provided by this armor.
