False Appearance. While the chilfos is prone and motionless, it is indistinguishable from a natural ice or snow formation.

Form Spear. As a bonus action, the chilfos can create a spear or javelin made out of dense ice, which on a hit deals an extra 3 (1d6) cold damage (included in the attack). This weapon is destroyed if it takes fire or bludgeoning damage, the chilfos dies, or its wielder rolls a natural 1 on any attack roll with it.

Spider Climb. The chilfos can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.

Actions

Icy Spear. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 10 ft. or range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (2d6 + 2) piercing damage, or 11 (2d8 + 2) piercing damage if used in two hands to make a melee attack, plus 3 (1d6) cold damage.

Reactions

Icicle Drop. If a creature moves directly under the chilfos while it is climbing on a wall or ceiling, the chilfos can use its reaction to fall onto the creature and make one melee attack against that creature. On a hit, the target must succeed on a DC 12 Strength saving throw or fall prone. The chilfos doesn't take falling damage from using this reaction.

Parry.

“A slim-bodied warrior made of ice. They disguise themselves as icicles on the ceiling and drop down when a foe draws near. Chilfos wield an icicle spear, piercing enemies that come within range and throwing it at those who keep their distance.”
Encyclopedia

A chilfos appears as a roughly humanoid shape about 9 feet in height, with a form so skinny and frail it resembles a skeleton. As it is comprised almost entirely of ice, the creature melts easily, and shatters like glass when struck forcefully.
Stoic Sculpture. If chilfos have individuality or personalities, they never show it. Typically created by the remnants of errant magic in an icy landscape, or a rogue wizzrobe, a chilfos seems incapable of reproducing among its own kind. Although a chilfos possesses a basic intelligence, its sole motivation in life is to violently deter those not native to its area. Mages and dark masters are known to employ their natural aggression to guard areas of interest.
Elemental Nature. The chilfos doesn't require food, water, or sleep.
