A lizal gauntlet is a martial melee weapon. This bulky steel-plated sleeve is meant to be used both offensively and defensively.
Special. If you are proficient with shields but are not wielding a shield, you add a +1 bonus to your Armor Class while wielding this weapon. While you have this bonus, the lizal gauntlet counts as a shield.
