You inflict grievous wounds upon a creature you touch. Make a spell attack roll against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1d12 necrotic damage.
     Upcast. You can upcast this spell by expending extra magic points when you cast it.  For every extra point you expend, the damage increases by 1d12.

Range:  Touch

Duration:  Instantaneous
