You create in your hand a bomb in the shape of a blue orb or cube (your choice) about one foot in diameter, which has consistency comparable to an empty clay pitcher. This bomb sheds dim blue light out to a radius of 5 feet, is buoyant in water, has AC 11, and has 30 heart points. As part of the action used to cast this spell, you can throw this bomb up to 20 feet. You can otherwise throw the bomb as an improvised weapon with a range increment of 20/40 feet, but on a hit the bomb deals no more than 1 bludgeoning damage.
     You can use your reaction to end this spell early at any time by providing a somatic component. This spell also ends immediately if the orb drops to 0 heart points or takes any fire damage.
     When this spell ends, the bomb explodes with a concussive burst and disappears. Each creature within 5 feet of the exploding bomb must succeed on a Strength saving throw or take 1d4 thunder damage. Any unattended object within 5 feet takes double this damage. A Medium or smaller target which takes this damage is pushed 5 feet away from the bomb as it explodes.
     This spell's damage increases by 1d4 when you reach 5th level (2d4), 11th level (3d4), and 17th level (4d4).
