Courage. The wolf has advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened.

Hearty (1/day). If the wolf would be reduced to 0 heart points but not killed outright, it is reduced to 1 heart point instead.

Keen Smell. The wolf has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell.

Legendary Resistance (3/day). If the wolf fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.


Actions

Multiattack. The wolf either makes three bite attacks, or one lunge and a bite.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 18 (2d12 + 6) piercing damage.

Lunge. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit 32 (4d12 + 6) slashing damage and if the target is a Medium or smaller creature, it is knocked Prone.

Dark Energy Attack (Recharge 5-6). The wolf lunges with unnatural speed at several nearby creatures. Any creature within 20 feet of it must make a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw, taking 39 slashing damage on a failed save or half as much on a success.
