Half plate consists of shaped metal plates that cover most of the wearer's body. This armor does not include leg protection beyond simple greaves that are attached with leather straps. Anyone wearing half plate has disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks made to move quietly.
     Proficiency. You must have proficiency with medium armor to wear half plate proficiently. If you wear armor that you lack proficiency with, you have disadvantage on any ability check, saving throw, or attack roll that involves Strength or Dexterity, and you can't cast spells.

Cost. 7,500 rupees
Stealth. Disadvantage
