Duration:  1 round

A frigid ball of chilling cold hurls toward a creature or object within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1d6 cold damage and if it is a creature has disadvantage on the first attack roll it makes before the start of your next turn.
     If you target wet ground or quicksand, on a hit a 5-foot square of that ground instantly freezes to become slippery ice until it thaws naturally. If you target an open body of water, it is covered in a 5-foot square of thin ice until it thaws naturally.
     The spell's damage increases by 1d6 when you reach 5th level (2d6), 11th level (3d6), and 17th level (4d6).
