The next time you hit a creature with an unarmed strike or weapon attack before this spell ends, you cause your weapon to burst with elemental energy that deals an extra 1d4 damage. The damage type depends on the sage domain you have chosen:
- Earth Sage: thunder damage
- Fire Sage: fire damage
- Forest Sage: acid damage
- Light Sage: radiant damage
- Shadow Sage: necrotic damage
- Spirit Sage: lightning damage
- Water Sage: cold damage
- Wind Sage: force damage
- Otherwise: poison damage
