2-point conjuration | |
Casting time: | 1 action |
Range: | 60 feet |
Components: | V, S, M (the hair of a wolf) |
Duration: | Concentration, up to 10 minutes |
You summon one or more spirits which manifest in an unoccupied space that you can see within range, taking the form of a shadowy wolf that persists for the duration. This wolf has the same statistics as a regular wolf (challenge rating 1⁄4), but is elemental instead of beast. This wolf is friendly to you and your companions. It will obey all verbal commands that you issue (no action required by you). In combat, it shares its turn with you, and you control its movement and actions as much as if you controlled your own character. If by the end of your turn you have issued no commands to it, the wolf will defend itself from hostile creatures but take no other actions.
Upcast. You can upcast this spell by expending extra magic points when you cast it. For each additional point you expend, you can either conjure one more wolf, or empower the lone wolf. If you empower the lone wolf, the wolf's challenge rating becomes equal to the extra number of points expended (e.g., CR 1 if you expended 1 extra point, CR 2 if you expended 2 extra points, etc).

If you conjure additional wolves, you summon one more wolf for each spell slot level above 1st. If you empower the lone wolf, its challenge rating becomes 1 if you use a spell slot of 2nd level, and increases by 1 for each spell slot level above 2nd.
