A shimmering field appears and surrounds a creature of your choice within range, granting it a +2 bonus to AC for the duration. This bonus cannot increase AC above 25, before adding cover or a shield bonus.
Upcast. You can upcast this spell by expending extra magic points when you cast it. For every 3 extra points expended, the bonus increases by 1.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the AC bonus increases by 1 for every two slot levels above 1st.
