A gohma larva—or "baby gohma"—is a newborn offspring of a vile gohma. Like its mother, a larva is an spider-like creature, but only has two to four functional legs. It peers upon the world with a single eye, and generally seeks the violent destruction of anything not of its own kind. As gohma eggs are produced in groups, larvae quickly learn to function and fight in small groups of their siblings.
Weaponized Offspring. Gohma reproduce their offspring asexually. Most are born for the notorious purpose of being used as scapegoats for predators or weapons to attack prey. When a gohma is threatened, it will often produce larvae on the spot with the intent of using the newborns as decoys. The larvae themselves will defend their mother at all costs, even if she uses them in this manner.
Life Cycle. The full gohma life cycle starts with eggs, then gohma larva, then young gohma or magtail, and finally gohma. Adult gohma sometimes take on especially powerful forms as armogohma, fire gohma, or great gohma.
