Contents
Lucent is one of several possible subclasses you can undertake as an opportunist.
Your subclass enacts features at 3rd level and every three levels thereafter: 6th, 9th, 12th, 15th, and 18th. See Opportunist#Lucent for an integrated list that combines lucent features with those of the base opportunist class.
Instinctive Defense
Starting from 3rd level, your AC can't be lower than 10 + your Dexterity modifier + your Wisdom modifier while you are not wearing armor or wielding a shield.
Mystic Talents
This page or section is incomplete, and will eventually be expanded with more information. |
At 3rd level, you learn to employ mystical arts of combat and subterfuge. These arts lay the foundation of the supernatural arts you will gradually begin to master.
You gain the X and Y talents. If you already have either talent, you instead gain another one of your choice.
You also gain proficiency with the disguise kit. If already proficient, you can either regain 2 proficiency points or become proficient in any other professional tool of your choice.
Finally, you gain proficiency in the Perception skill. If already proficient, you can either regain 2 proficiency points or become proficient in any other skill of your choice.
Lucent Arts
This page or section is incomplete, and will eventually be expanded with more information. |
At 6th level,
You learn two lucent arts from the following list, and learn one more of your choice at every three opportunist levels hereafter: 9th, 12th, 15th, and 18th. Whenever you gain the Improvement feature, you can replace one of the lucent arts you've learned with a new one.
Unerring Senses
At 9th level, you begin to see and hear what it seems others cannot. Your eyes are beginning to know absolute truth. You become an expert in one skill of your choice from Insight, Investigation, and Perception.
As an expert, you add a bonus die to ability checks which use one of the chosen skills. The size of this die depends on your proficiency bonus: d8 for +4, d10 for +5, and d12 for +6. This does not affect your passive Perception score.
Slit of Truth
Gradually, your senses begin to see through magic and deception that would cloud them. Starting from 12th level, you see a heavily obscured area as if it was lightly obscured, and see any lightly obscured area as if it was obscured.
From now on, you also have advantage on every saving throw you make against an illusion spell.
Perfect Senses
At 15th level, you become an expert in the Insight, Investigation, and Perception skills if you aren't already.
You have advantage on every saving throw against being blinded or deafened.
Eye of Truth
Starting from 18th level, you have truesight out to a range of 30 feet. You cannot be blinded or deafened to any object, creature, or effect within this range.
