3-point abjuration | |
Casting time: | 1 action |
Range: | Touch |
Components: | V, S, M (a shield) |
Duration: | Concentration, up to 1 minute |
A shield you touch is surrounded with a protective veil of force. While the shield is wielded proficiently, ranged attacks against the wielder have disadvantage for the duration. If a ranged spell attack targets the wielder but misses by 5 or more, the wielder is unaffected, and the effect is reflected back at the caster as though it originated from the wielder, turning the caster into the target.
