Your DM ultimately decides on what method to use for character creation. If you are participating in a traditional Dungeons & Dragons campaign, use the normal rules for character creation and only substitute races, classes, and other content as desired.

The following process is based on the one found in the Player's Handbook, but assumes only Hyrulean content will be used, and grants a player more agency in deciding details of their character.
