You summon a wooden, hovering, human-shaped construct—a skull puppet—that appears in unoccupied space that you can see within range. The summoned creature is friendly to you and your companions, and can take its own turn on your initiative starting in the next round. It obeys any verbal commands that you issue to them (no action required by you), but it cannot take the Help action or the Dodge action. If you don't issue any commands to it, the puppet follows you but takes no actions. A summoned skull puppet disappears when it drops to 0 heart points or when the spell ends.
Upcast. You can upcast this spell by expending extra magic points when you cast it. You can summon one more skull puppet for every 2 extra points expended. Each puppet can appear in any unoccupied space within range.
