Flyby. While it is flying, the owl's movement doesn't provoke reactions.

Keen Senses. The owl has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight, hearing, or smell.

Actions

Talons. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (2d8 + 1) slashing damage. If the target is a Small or Tiny creature, it must succeed on a DC 11 Strength saving throw or become grappled.  A Tiny creature is also restrained for as long as this grapple persists.

A renowned variety of common owl, the great owl is most remarkable for its mastery over language.  Cunning observers, great owls have learned much from people just by watching them—and in many fables their advice has avoided calamities or solved ongoing problems.  Despite their generally benevolent nature, great owls have resisted domestication or living among people.  It seems most of them prefer to live and wander alone, with long lives spent in quiet observation and study.
