Alert to the traps and treasures present in many dungeons, you gain the following benefits:
- Gain proficiency in one skill from Arcana, Investigation, Nature, or Perception. Alternatively, gain proficiency with thieves' tools.
- You have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) and Intelligence (Investigation) checks made to detect the presence of traps, secret doors, treasure chests, or similar mechanisms.
- You have advantage on saving throws made to avoid or resist traps, and traps have disadvantage on any attack roll against you.
- You have advantage on any Intelligence check made to recall lore about traps or monstrosities.
- You can always discern what direction is north, even while underground.
