Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a helmet with visor, and thick layers of padding underneath the metal plates. Buckles and straps help distribute the weight over one's body.
Plate armor has a Strength requirement of 15. Anyone wearing it has disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks made to move quietly.
