A bedroll usually consists of a blanket, a waterproof sheet, twine or cord, and sometimes a pillow or cushioning. To carry it easily, you can roll up the bedding into the waterproof sheet then tie it with cord. Sometimes travelers will hold some gear in the center of the roll.
