Ambusher. The pols roar has advantage on attack rolls targeting any creature that has yet to have a turn in this combat.

Keen Hearing. The pols roar has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing.

Sound Reliance. A pols roar has disadvantage on any saving throw to avoid being deafened. While deafened, it is stunned and can't use its blindsight.

Actions

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 27 (4d12 + 4) piercing damage, and a Large or smaller target is grappled (escape DC 14). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and the pols roar can't bite another target.

Pounce. (Recharge 5-6) The pols roar jumps a height or distance of up to 30 feet and makes one bite attack with advantage. This movement does not provoke opportunity attacks.

“A ghost with big ears and a weak point—he hates loud noise.”
— Manual, The Legend of Zelda

A pols roar bears an uncanny resemblance to the more common pols voice. Rather than a cute little bunny monster, however, its body is almost entirely a gigantic mouth used to pounce and devour even a full-sized horse.
Dwelling in Silence. A pols roar is oddly drawn to quiet locations, particularly in abandoned ruins or abandoned temples. Their sensitive hearing seems to work best in such environments. Infamously, they detest loud noises, and tend to fight or flee from the sources of such cacophony.
